:thanks for the tips. we have been trying to holdhim in a wash cloth like the vet showed us, but he keeps spitting his medicine out all over, but maybe that's because we have been trying to give it all at once instead of a few drops at once. I have also been mixing it in yogurt that works with a lot of persistance. Is it ok to do it like that? Any way I've been getting it in him, but its been very hard. We have a long 8 days ahead of us, but Gizmo seems to be feeling alot better, so its definately worth it. Did yours have a bladder infection? Thanks again

Giving anything to a glider that it doesnt want is a pain. I've mastered the skill of meds to gliders who dont like them. Hold the glider in your palm with 1 hand, thumb tip in the side of the mouth so it isnt biting you, take your other hand with the syringe and put a few drops at a time in his mouth from the side of it. Make sure you put the syringe tip in the other side of the mouth that you have your thumb in. Let him swallow a little bit at a time so he doesnt choke. Might seem sorta mean but it works well, and meds are for the best.
