Subject: questions and improvements Posted by Marie on March 16, 2000 at 23:10:53 from 209.86.24.139 Percy hasn't crabbed at me in ages, infact he hasn't crabbed at anyone in forever including our twelve year old poodle. Now we have a new puppy and the puppy keeps sticking her nose in Percy's cage. He jumps at the side of the cage and crabs at her whenever she does this. I am assuming that he is defending his territory which I guess is a good thing right? and the fact that he hasn't crabbed at me or the rest of the family is good. Will he ever get used to the puppy invading his space? Or am I just gonna have to teach the puppy to stay away from the cage? (I am not letting them play with one another) i am assuming that he will get used to her since he is used to the poodle. Maybe it will just take time. As for the improvements. Today Percy let me know in no uncertain terms that he wanted to be fed NOW. He also will come to the side of the cage if I put my hand up to the cage. he is hardly biting me and the other day actually spent five minutes hanging on me. We are improving tremendously. Marie
