I would get your glider to a vet right away. Then, I would probably take him back to the breeder. There is no such thing as "only a cataract" in a young glider. I've never seen a cataract and I have lots of gliders. If his gliders all get cataracts, there may be something wrong with his diet, genetics, or something else. Maria : I brought a new glider home yesterday. when I got home with him I noticed that his eye on one side was different than the other one. It has a sunken look about it instead of bulging out like the other one does and it is somewhat milky looking. I called the breeder that I got him from and he told me that he is okay that it is only a cataract and some of the time they can get them and not to worry. Is he right or should I take him back and get another one. My first Glider at home and he just sleeps as well. Hasn't shown any interest in food or water. Just sleeps.
