my one glider gizmo nips constantly. It doesn't hurt. He likes people. He loves to climb on people and play chase the string, and he also likes to nip. He runs up to me and bites my toes. He is very independent. He likes to be the one to come to you. The only time he really bites hard is when he is disturbed while trying to rest. We have tried the not pulling our hands away thing, but it doesn't work. Our other glider, Yoda, rarely ever nips, never bites, and never crabs. He doesn't care when you want to hold him. Unless yours is biting hard i wouldn't worry about it. I think that each glider has their own personality just like any other animal. To me, Gizmo's little nips are just his way of sociallizing and being playful.
