what kind of milk are you feeding the joey? cow's milk is not good for them because of the lactose. I would suggest if you cannot get some marsuipal milk replacer (available here: http://www.sugarglider.net/supplies )
to use puppy milk replacer and leadbeaters mix to help the joey survive.
also make sure to keep the joey warm....
