Subject: May have to give gliders up for adoption (WA). Advice/inquiries?

My company is moving me to California at the end of next month and I don't know what to do about my gliders (Rocky & Wink...Rocky's a neutered male and Wink is a female). I'm worried about their quality of life since they are illegal in CA. I'm really wrestling with what to do. If they get sick, I can't take them to the vet. And I'm worried about taking them out and about with me since if someone reports me...they'll be taken away. Or if they bark at night and a neighbor complains, etc. But if I give them up for adoption, I want to make sure they go to a good home that understands about gliders.
I really want to keep them, but their quality of life is most important. They aren't so bonded to me that they can't live without me, and my first 6mos at my new job will mean a lot of travel and I won't be able to pay attention to them. Any suggestions? Does anyone out there live in WA and would be able to adopt 2 gliders? Help! I really don't know what to do, but I'll do whatever means they'll be the happiest.
