: Sugar Gliders are most *definately* not endangered. If they were considered an endangered or threatend species, I can assure you that ownership would be an issue in the U.S. *However* I have heard that they are a protected speceies in the wild in certain parts of Austalia.

One more thought... Legality of ownership does vary state to state. I know here in Florida, they are legal to own. Check with your local humane society or department of agriculture for information. You might also find additional information at www.isga.org
