I agree. Imagination is the best thing. I have 4 SG's and they keep me busy trying to think of new things for them to play with. Homemade things have worked best for me. Mine love knee socks stuffed with old socks hanging from the top of their cage. I like these because they can be washed.
I have been told with cat toys, if you get cloth or stuffed ones to stay away from the ones with catnip.
Just make sure there are no sharp edges or things they can get hurt in.
