I know how you feel, Karen.

The first two or three days that I had my glider were hard
for me too, since she wouldn't eat. But by the third night
things began to change, and were soon up to what I had expected.

My experience is limited, but this seems to jive with what I
had read, both in groups like this and a glider book a friend
loaned me. Apparently it is common for a newly-weaned glider
to eat poorly for a few days until they begin to get used
to its new situation.

The next big hurdle is the bonding process. Don't rush it, and
seek advice from the experienced members of this community.
It helps a lot to hear from them.
