Ok, it is official, the baby has been rejected, and the breeder is hand nursing her. she was rejected because she was soo small, while her brother, being much bigger, was not rejected. She made it through her first night without mama, so we think she'll make it. Wish us luck! Also, last night, I let to of my kids run rampant through my bedroom while I slept as I often do. However, last night was my 14 week old baby girl's first night to run loose, as I have only had her for about 1.5 months. This morning I found Gizmo tearing the place up as usual, and very happy to see that I was awake. Unfortunately, though, I did not find my girl! She may just be in my closet, but this afternoon I found that the corner of one of the screens in my window was not secure. Could/would she have snuck outside, when it is so damp and chilly this early in spring? It was quite wet last night, and I really hope she didn't try to brave it out there, because if she did, I doubt I'll see her again. I know it was a stupid oversight on my part (I thought I had checked everything!) but now what do I do? Thanks for any advice, and please don't think I'm a bad mom because my sneaky girl is hiding! I just feel so awful! I miss her so much...
