No need to apologize. We have all been new SG owner's at one time.
The "mean" one will probably need quite a bit more time than the other one. As with humans, gliders all have different personalities.
I have 4 and also have a "mean" one. Poor Charlie Brown just won't read the book about taking the bite so they will stop biting when they discover you won't pull your hand back.Well, I got tired of the bite. As a result,I have bonded with him as much as he is going to let me.
Some gliders are just more independent and moody than others.
Do the best you can and be very thankful for the few times you don't get bitten.
