There are stores that sell cord coverings. If the pet chews on it they have to get through that, also bunch up any extra cord with a twisty tie type device. If they do chew on the cord covering try soaking a wash cloath in hot sauce then rubbing it on the cord. They should never chew on it again after that. Also put up ropes to encourage your glider to stay off of the floor. They can be trained to never get on the floor.
