: I am flying to NJ next week. I want to take beebee with me because I'll be gone for two weeks. Does anyone know if its ok for a glider to be at high altitude? I don't want her to crab the whole time Is it legal to take them on the plane???? Help!!

OK.. I haven't taken any on a plane ride - BUT we have had discussions on this topic before. People HAVE taken them on planes. YES it is illegal. You have to make sure it is a VERY short flight and you have to make sure they are quiet and stay in their pouch. Best to carry your lil one(s) around with you during the day to make sure you time it correctly and get the correct flight time so she doesn't wake up. I believe plane rides are ok because people ship the little guys all the time.

I am not saying I would do this because if you did get caught you maybe fined... But people have done it before. I had a breeder in Texas tell me she has brought people gliders that way before and she would do this for me. I live in Colorado.

So, it's up to you. =) I wish you the best of luck either way. I know that they do offer better containers that look like small purses that makes sure that the lil guys don't get out.. If you need that link let me know..

Hope that helps!

:o)
