: I am flying to NJ next week. I want to take beebee with me because I'll be gone for two weeks. Does anyone know if its ok for a glider to be at high altitude? I don't want her to crab the whole time Is it legal to take them on the plane???? Help!!

Hi. I have taken my 2 little ones on a plane trip before, and while I don't advise
it, everything went just fine. Like many people say it is a big risk if you are discovered,
and your gliders could be confiscated and put down. I took the chance and everything worked
out fine. I wore 2 tee-shirts with an overshirt to get them into the airport. One inside, I
went to the bathroom and transferred them into my bookbag which had a few shirts in it. I made
shure to keep a little open space so they wouldn't suffocate too. I travelled from Lubbock, Texas
to Hartford Connecticut and they never made one peep. I even had to take a noisy (prop jet) flight too.
All in all they were on a plane all day. I just made shure to book my flight late enough in the morning
that they would be asleep and pray not to have a layover.
All in all it was a risky thing to do but it turned out fine. This was a must situation though
and if there is another alternative, do that. Airport security varies and I would have been out of luck
I set off the metal detector and they had to swipe one of those sticks on me. I could just see that now.
Just because I got lucky doesn't mean everyone will be. Well hope this gives you something to go on.
Good luck in your decision.
