I would highly suggest asking about the carry on, Betsycc sells travel cages that would work for that, she also will make a pouch specifially for the trip in the air. Our main concern over the years has been the air pressure on their ears, however; someone (a vet) pointed out to me that they are aboreal, which means they live in the utmost tops of the trees, and in Australia some tress are very very high. o their system is designed for the higher pressures. I still am a little leary, some people have flown with the gliders with no probs. I have heard of some gliders awaking and crabbing because they were scared. I have also read if you were to sneak a glider on a plane, that it is a federal offense and the gliders WILL be confiscated. Other things to consider is any layovers that may be in an illegal city. The shipping of gliders have caused great controversy due to many accidents. from the stress to inadequet air and water. I would suggest as I said befor to ask about the carry on, and utilize that if need be, with no other alternatives. It would be safer for them no matter what happens.. 60.00 is not that high as compared to the life of your glider.
