I have 4 SG. 2 are in separate cages and I have never heard the noises from them. HOWEVER, I have husband and wife together and have heard the noises off and on during their sleeping hours.
I agree with Carmilla. I think these are noises they make when they move in their sleep because the hammock is also moving when I hear them. There are different noises (the sneezy ones) that I believe are similar to the ones you hear in dogs when they are dreaming or in very deep sleep.
I am 99% sure this is nothing to be concerned about. In fact, I think these noises are cute and tell my SG are content.
