: i have two baby gliders one is about 3months the other 21/2 months this morning when i went to feed them there fur was all spiky but not wet or sticky. i have seen there fur kind of do the same thing when they clean them selves but never to this extream. is this a bad sign? are they sick? they dont act or look sick they just got spiky fur? i've heard that baths are not a good idea. but i wonder if i tried there fur might go back to normal. any one know what i should do? or have had this happen to there little friends?

I have seen it as a sign of stress before, relocating to a new home, getting used to new things and people. As they got used to thier surroundings, their fur looked much healthier.
