I have taken in more than one huge glider in the past several months, including two in the last day. I know that the last two eat just leadbetters and isectivore from their last home and are 3 and 4 year old males, neutered. They came with two females not nearly so overweight. In the past, simply feeding them the suggested diets of leadbeaters and added etc., and playing with them regularly, brought them down. I haven't had time yet with these two, obviously, but for some reason everytime I bring an adult male or pair into my home, at least one seems severely overweight... Am I just seeing them as too big when they are normally supposed to be spheres, or is there some kind of fat glider epidemic out there? I will get pictures of my two new fatties asap. I really want to know if it is just my perception that is off...
