My babies all have spanish names:

Loco (Madman) got his name because he lunged and bit and hissed at me the whole first week that I had him.

Bonita (Pretty) got her name because she was a glider that someone traumatized and then traded back in. I rescued her and decided she needed a positive name from the beginning.

Charla (Chatty) got her name from the verb "to chat" because she talked all night the first night I brought her home.

Manso (Meek) is my new addition (he will be Charla's companion) got his name because he didn't crab or anything when he was first handed to me from the cage with his momma.

So, I agree that my babies named themselves.
