Kim...I don't agree completly here. I think its true that people value what they pay for..yey I have heard of people paying lots for gliders and still neglecting them.

If she wants to give her glider away for free thats cool, but she SHOULD ask tons of questions about the owner. I wouldnt give mine away to someone who didn't already have glider experience. I would ask about their diet, cages, vet, time, experience, knowledge....etc...

I really don't think that getting a glider for free neccisarly means that they are going to treat it badly.
