I fully believe that a lone glider can be very happy if you spend at least 3 hrs a day with it durring its awake hours. This can however be very hard to do considering their very late hours they keep. I spemd all day and night with my glider, and I know that he is happy. I spend a good 15 hrs with him a day. You probably know that gliders can bond with humans, they can also bond with other gliders. I ahve let my glider play one time with another glider, but not every week. I fear that if they spend that much time together they will bond with one another. I know of people that went out of town for a week, left their glider with another glider, and found the gliders very bonded upon returning. It is very crule to seperate two gliders that are bonded to one another. If they do bond with one another one of you will have to take the other one in. Otherwise you could end up with soem very unhappy gliders. I do believe in my glider occasionally playing with another glider, but not every week. Some may disagree with me, but I deffinitly think you run that risk. The sisters already share that family bond..it will only grow stronger over time. If you were to live with your boyfriend that would be different, because they would be togther everyday.
