: due to unhappy circumstances, i have to hand feed a baby. she is young, and her tail hasn't fluffed out, about 3 inches in length.

: where can i get the formula?

how old is the joey? are her eyes open yet? if her eyes are open she has a good chance of survival. you can get the milk replacer from clara at http://www.sugarglider.net/supplies
or Brisky's at http://www.brisky.com
make sure you have the rush it to you.
until you get the milk replacer i would suggest giving the joey pedialyte mixed with glideraide to keep her hydrated. Also if you can get her to eat the leadbeaters that would be good.
I am in the process of caring for two joeys that lost their mom. They were 3 weeks oop when they lost their mom and are now 6 weeks oop and doing great. I could not get them to take the milk replacer however they have been eating the leadbeaters quite well.
good luck.
