: Hi,

: I have six gliders. I love them but need to sell the two adult gliders that I have one male and one female. They are semi-wild. I can feed them by hand but cannot pick them up. I have had them for about 8 months I had a third adult that had two litters of two babies. She since then has passed away. The female that I have left has had two litters but have never lived to outside the pouch. The seem to get to a certain age then I find them at the bottom of the cage. I just cannot have six gliders. My 15 year old and my 11 year old care for two of the gliders and have bonded well with them. I am now bonding with the other two. They are only about six weeks out of the pouch. I have no idea how to go about selling the two adults. When I bought them the young man that I bought them from said he got them from a pet store and that they were straight from Austraila. I do not have any way of verify that info. I do know that he did not know how to care for a glider. He fed them sugar water and cat food. They smelled and their under bellies were yellow. After a few weeks the smell went away and they are now mostly white. If you have any ideas on what I should do please let me know.

:::Hi Donell;
can I ask you a few questions??Do your kids want to be with the gliders??Do they want the gliders still??You should sit down with them and ask them if they want to keep them.Also do you think they are responsible enough to take care of them?Do you think the gliders will effect the kids school work??If the kids do not want the gliders then try putting an ad in the newspaper as there might be some person out there wanting a glider or two.If that does not work then make adds that can go in stores(grocery,malls)and shred the bottom and put sugar glider then your phone#,
I hope I helped a little
