Nylon is non-digestible. Please, please do not put this is their cage. SG will chew on just about anything if it's left in there long enough.
Try sporting goods store or boat accessories for cotton rope. I use the cotton bird rope-type that will screw onto each side of the cage. You can take these out and wash them in the washer, letting them air dry, every few weeks. I keep a spare for when the one washed is drying.
These are not expensive and mine love them.
