Subject: must get rid of my family of SG's-please help Posted by Maryse on April 29, 2000 at 17:58:49 from 208.160.191.4 Hello! I was given 3 sugar gliders (2 adults with their baby and one in pouch) about 2 or 3 years ago. Don't know how old the adults were when I got them. They have all lived in a large walk-in type cage as my pets, and produced a few more babies since. I have given some babies to a friend a year ago, but now there are more. I believe, altogether I once again have 6 sugargliders (all very sweet-except the original female is quite shy-she will eat out of your hand-but I do not push her too much to come to me) She may have one in her pouch (not sure if she is still breeding). All are sweet and very excited to jump on me when I open their cage. They are not too cranky, and don't make their noise when I pick them up. They have all been treated like my little babies-there was no "commercial breeding" intentions with these sweeties-many have offered to purchase, but I couldn't bear to part with just one (since I know they have lived together for so long). I will not sell them to petshops since again, it will be an issue of the petshop selling only one at a time. However, I have barely had time to enjoy them for the past couple of months, and feel it may be better if I sell the batch to one person (or sell them in batches of 2 or 3). My colony is getting too big for me to handle. I will not sell one at a time (they really are a family). Anyone in West Central Florida interested, please give me your best offer (i don't have a set price, I will consider ANY offer and suggestion-just want to make sure they go to a good home and are not alone). I am willing to drive them to your place (or halfway if you are far). Not too interested in shipping them anywhere. my email is maryse@alloymail.com Please email me or respond here if interested.
