check out my bonding page and be very patient, you shouldn't allow him to come out into the room, till he trusts your hands. If he doesn't trust your hands yets then it will be very traumatic for both of you to try to catch him to put him back.. Pennie was right, the best way to teach them to trust your hands is to not make any assertive moves towards him, and do nothing more than spend time with him while he is in the cage, and offer him good things to eat.. Also put your shirt on the cage everynight, so he will get used to your smell, and so when you are not there, at least your smell is..
