Hello Jessica, When I purchased my gliders, I purchased a female (she was the proper age and very healthy). 2 days later I purchased a male from the same breeder but a different litter. He was also healthy and the proper age. We live in Montana, but were visiting my family in Oklahoma. I purchased them while in OK because there are no breeders in Montana. They bonded from the moment they were put together. They travelled by me wearing them in a belly bag. They were caged together in the evenings and let out to play in motel restrooms for an hour or two in the evenings. They bonded with me, my husband didn't have anything to do with them. Once home, I still carried them with me during the day and would let them out to play in our room in the evenings while my husband and I were reading in bed, when we were ready to go to sleep they were put back in their cage. To make this story short. They bonded with him just by letting them out to run around with both of us in the room with them. A few months later my husband had to fly to VA. for a family emergency and was gone for two weeks. Our gliders, when let out during the evening to play, would run around the room looking for my husband. I hope this helps you out. My experience in bonding two unrelated gliders with two people was very easy. : Bourbon, : I read your page on bonding. It was very informative. Anyway, I was wondering..I have two gliders on the way. (you may have already read this in a previous mesage) Me and my fiance are waiting for a male and female, which should be here on Friday. Our goal is to have one bond with me, and the other with him. We're not partial on which one bonds with which, and if they both end up bonding more with one person (LOL)we'll be ok with it. All the articals on bonding only talk about bonding with "one" person. I don't know how we should go about starting the bonding prosses. I don't want to overwhelm the poor little things. Should we start together? Should only one person handle first? Also you talked about putting one of our shirts on the cage..should we put both of our shirts on the cage or would this just confuse the glider? Oh also, could you give me your web address?
