It is not a good idea to have the birds in the same room as the gliders. Gliders eat birds and are eaten by birds. Not a good combination. Also, when you let your gliders out the their cage - they will make a bee line to the bird cage at some point. I stringly suggest that you put your bird cage in a different room.
A breeder told me she will not sell gliders to people with birds. One of her gliders went insane because of birds. Whether it was from wanting to eat them or living in terror that it would be eaten - we do not know.
