okay you say he is tamed and loves to come out, but does he trust your hands yet? does he trust you yet? the two places to start here is

start in a very small room like the bathroom, PROOF IT FIRST !!!and everytime he gets on you, place your hand where he can get back off of you, don't try to hold him or catch him. allow him to play. It sounds to me like he is running from you and hiding now, which doesn't seem like he trusts you yet. everytime you chase him, it sets your bonding/trust back again. he will learn to see your hands as the "bad guy", the one that chases and grabs him.. that is NOT what you want to accomplish
