Unless you are considering and researching getting a USDA liscense, I would either get the male and female pair, and nueter the male right away, or get the two males. I have found that their age doesn't necessarily matter in the bonding process... but watching them grow sure is fun! I currently have a male and female, (I had wanted to have two females... and the breeder had a sex mix-up-whoops!) I don't know if I'm as clear on this as I want to be, but I think that it would be helpful for you to know if you want to be a liscensed breeder or not. And if the answer is NOT, then your best bet is to get the two males, unless your m/f pair gets fixed. Hope I helped... Sadie
