Brikys and leadbeaters are 2 different diets. Leadbeaters(along with the extra chicken, fruits, and veggies) is a balanced diet, nothing else need be fed.

Now, you've got Briskys- supposedly the perfect diet all in a dry pellet form. All the vitamin, calcium..etc. levels are perfectly balanced, so what will happen if you feed another diet that isnt all in a pellet, and the glider can pick what it wants to eat? It will seriously unbalance both diets, leaving all the vitamins and Calcium/Phosphorus levels to be unbalaced. This is what kills the glider- its happened before.
