Mary, thank you for your help. I am not sure of the date in which the books were written, however the Magazines in which we received information are published bi-monthly. Several internet sites I have browsed, indeed named the same foods in their Gliders diet as I have for mine. Foods such as Sweet Potato, Plain Chicken, Boiled Eggs, Fruits such as Apples, Pears, Grapes, etc. Grains were mentioned as well, and the Calcium supplement. I do agree that Pet Stores DO NOT treat animals in a very humane nature. I did not use very much advice from the Pet Stores at all. Most of the information was obtained from Books, Magazines, a Pet Store in which a famous Pet Doctor (whom you may have seen on Television, depending on what state, or what TV channels you receive) You usually see him on The Weather Channel in the evenings, That is when The Weather Channel turns into special TV viewings. The Pet Doctor lives in the same County as myself, and a few towns away from my Fiance', so we paid him a visit. As for Leadbeaters, what the heck is that? I have never heard of that in any Book or Magazine! Is it a diet? After I heard about Leadbeaters on this site I saw it on another Internet Site, but they referred to it as a type of food or supplement you give the Gliders. They recommend giving them 2 tablespoons a day. But you make it sound as if it is a special diet. Please explain Leadbeaters to me so I can try it with my Gliders. Also my Glider that is fat is only fat in the bottom area of the body. Could there possibly be another problem with that Glider? Well thanks for your info!!! Hope to hear from you soon.
