They don't smell if their diet is correct. Sugar Gliders are cuter, I think, but they are a bigger responsiblity than a hamter or a cat. They live up to fifteen years so be prepared to have them for a while. They can be exspensive to care for and need LOTS of attention. If you don't have two of them you have to play with them two hours a day or more and sometimes even if you do that it will still die of deppreson. If you buy two you still have to play an hour with them a day. And you have to remember things like getting food and taking them to the vet. Their wonderful pets but you have to be rreally commited. If you can do this, buy either!
