Howie,
Listen, even though you have the right idea as far as keeping them from being desturbed, this whole keeping them in the closet thing is still not good for them. Even though these little guys are nocturnal, they still need some natural sunlight. It gives them some kind of nutrients (I can't remember the name of it) for their bones. You should really look in to Bourbon's Ledbeaters. It's great all the way around. It's very cheap, and easy to make, and lasts a very long time. I made a batch that is lasting me at least a month for mine. It's a complete diet too, so it gives the all the nutrients they need. I mean you can't lose. Cheap, easy, and lasts a long time! Mine wouldn't eat veggies or the ledbeaters at first. Now I alternate nights. One night they get fruits and leadbeaters, and the next they eat veggies and Leadbeaters. I found that mine is like a child. of course they will eat candy every night for dinner if you let them, but you have to be a parent, and teach them to eat the right foods too. While she's pregnate (even though you still need a USDA license) she needs lots more protien. She will eat her babies to get it. If she doesn't it can kill her, it's not her fault. Hope this helps.
