I vaguely remember reading something about this. I will try to find the actual article. If I am not mistaken (and I may very well be) I think it had to do with too much fat in the mom's diet and possible further eye sight problems in the babies. I think they advocated giving fresh pressed carrot juice daily but I am not certain at all that it was about white tail tip. As I said, I'll try to find the article and post it. I can't remember for sure and may have confused two articles.
