It's utterly ridiculous to say that it's "dangerously wrong" to advocate moderation of mealworms in a glider diet. And by the way, my "idiot" information came straight from Bourbon's Modified Leadbeater's Diet, which says (and I quote) "not too many of the mealworms though, they are high in fat". Many people on this page consider Bourbon an expert. However, just to be sure, I also confirmed this with both my exotics vet and the zoo dietician (experienced and intelligent folks, certainly not "idiots"). I'll continue to follow their advice, especially since they not only have the knowledge to back it up, but also personally own and love healthy gliders. And gee, they have never been rude to me once! If the diet you're feeding works, then great for you and more power to you -- the bottom line any of us is looking for is happy, healthy gliders. The silly thing is that we're probably feeding the exact same amount of mealworms.
