: : : : Does anyone out there own both of these? I'm wondering if they get along OK. Could I keep them in the same cage? Any breeders out there that could give me some info on the squirrels? I have a sugar glider, would like some company for him. Any help is appreciated. Melissa
: : : A guy I know tried it and it didn't work at all, they had to be kept in separate cages. He said the squirrel was a pain in the butt. They're two very different pets. The squirrel is a rodent, the glider isn't. The glider will bond with you and sleep all day in your pocket, the squirrel won't. The sugar glider will very much appreciate a sugar glider for company.
: : : This isn't my personal experience, but I believe him totally.

: We are not breeders yet. We are going start in the near future. We have 1 flying squirrel and 4 sugar gliders. We got the male squirrel first then a female glider. They got alone ok. Then we a male glider. The 2 males fought for a while but, now they get alone fine. I'm talking they both made a lot of noise, not really fighting. We just got 2 more female gliders. They are making noise now.

: Just remember to keep an eye on them. Try holding them at the same time. That's what we did

Yes you can put them both in the same cage they will ge along perfectley fine it will be like they were
naturally ment to be togahter
