Sugar Gliders run anywhere between $125.00 and $200.00, really depends on where and whom you buy them from.
But you want to think twice about buying froma pet store as they are not handled very often, and have been moreless proven to be neglected.

As for the gage, well if you can build one your self, it would be cheaper, but to go buy one from the pet stores, your looking at about $50.00 on up.
There are alot of web sites to go to, to buy one of their custom cages, and they are very nice.

Yes they need a place to sleep, more then hide in.

They have pouches out there that you can also order online and this is what they enjoy to sleep in.

You will also want to think about the food costs, the VET costs, and the amount of time you will have to spend with your Glider.

Where are you located, you also have to be sure they are legal in your State.
