Jessica, is there any chance this article you speak of is the Veterinary Medicine October 1999 article A guide to medicine and surgery in sugar gliders. I notice this does give a mite medication reference and also FYI mentions the unknown nematode. That article states that mites are uncommon unless gliders are kept outdoors. Your clarification would be appreciated.
