However, I suggest that you take it down a few pegs. You're not talking to a bunch of people snatching wild chimps away from their mothers for the circus or something; the vast majority of sugar glider owners have captive bred animals, and have bonded with them (which is a two-way relationship). These animals are not pining for the rain forest -- this is the life they know. If you will read some more on this page, you will see that every potential new owner is advised, quite strongly, to reasearch the heck out of these critters before making the decision to get one. The key reason these folks do so is because they care about gliders and want them to be happy, healthy, and well-treated. Your strong passions and advocacy would be put to much better use and add a lot more value, for the animal world's sake, on issues where the animals are truly abused and mistreated.
