Subject: Introducing gliders - younger female

Hi Everyone! I purchased my first glider the second week of March after months and months of research and thinking it over. It is a male and he was about 7 wks OOP. He is my little sweetheart and after experiencing how wonderful he is I decided to get another glider as a companion for him and a friend for me. I brought a 6 wk OOP female home one week ago. The information from Bourbon's "Introducing 2 Gliders" page and from this message board have been invaluable to me. My sweeties are in separate cages and I am following all of Bourbon's introduction advice. Things seem to be going well so far and I plan to try putting them together for the first time in three or four weeks and see how it goes. I need to know if there will come a point in time when I should separate them again (assuming the pairing is acceptable to them)for a while to protect her from being raped. He will become sexually mature before she does as he is 2 1/2 to 3 months older. Thank you for any advice you have for us! ...Lisa, Tazzy and the yet to be named baby girl!
