I had both my boys neutered and everything went fine my vet charged $82 She had never nuetered a sugarglider before but had done many small animals The same day she did mine she also did a third one they all went well. There is always a risk involved with any type of surgery but I think it is pretty routine There are definate plus sides to nuetering it cut way down on our smell and i have also read that it cuts down on the risk of self mutilation of a frustrated male with no female If you have confidence in your vet I would go ahead and do it
