: : i was wondering what fruits are low in phosphorus, because i give my gliders applesauce every-so-often, and i know that it is high in phos. also, what foods do they actually like that contains calcium? i tried yogurt and cottage cheese but they won't eat it. i tried eggshell, because in a sugarglider book, it said that they eat eggshells, but they dont eat that either. what should i try? thanks
: : Feed them repcal 1/8 teaspoon every night in honey stir well. It works. find in petstroes/ petsmart/. Repcal Reptocal in their leadbeaters mix works wonders. Also, when making leadbeaters mix, put the egg shell into the blender with the rest of the ingredients. Our vet has given me vitamins for the gliders that I add to the leadbeaters. These additions to their diet have made a big difference in our one glider. Phosphorus free ultra fine powder.
