I live in New England and my gliders do ok in the winter-when it gets really
chilly in my house I cover their cage with an old insulated blanket to keep the
heat inside their cage. When it is cold and I do not cover them, they really don't
wander out of their nest at night too much, only to eat or run on their wheel.

If it is really cold in your house and you find yourself always covering their cage,
make sure they can see out at some place-my gliders get frustrated if they are covered
and can't see what's going on outside their cage.

Keep your gliders away from windows and drafts, but also don't put them over heating vents.

My experience with gliders and cold is that they are fairly hardy creatures- I try not to subject them
to anything I couldn't handle, but I've been surprised on several occasions at how warm they can
keep themselves when it is cold.
