I have modified my Leadbeater's as follows... 1 cup gerber's rice cereal, 1/2 cup honey ( I use raspberry honey with NO preservatives), 1 hard boiled egg, 1 jar gerber's turkey sticks, 1 #1 jar green beans, 1 #1 jar sweet potatos, 1 1/2 teaspoon "rept-cal", 1 jar cherry/apple juice, 1 jar mixed friut yogurt, and abiut 1/2 cup glider chow. I puree this together in a food procceser until it is a smooth goo. Then I freeze it in a tupperware style container. All jar stuff is gerber and sometimes just for variety I'll add some pecans or fresh papaya. I try to give it the balance of good stuff and treat stuff that they like. The glider chow is made by a company here in Oregon and I'd be glad to give you the phone if you'd like. When I need to feed the gliders early, I just give them glider chow and fresh water and fruit Frozen a bit. I don't give mine the stuff that they like all of the time 'cause that would be like a steady diet of junk food for them. Sometimes I only feed them the really good for them stuff with just a bit of treat (4 times a week). Diet and funtime are SOOOO important to them that if they don't get them they may die. Also, room temp. is also VERY important to their health. A couple of years ago I almost lost my babies to very wierd hot weather. I am hyper aware of such things now. Ask anything anytime! Send to my e-mail and you will here from me faster. Glider love and nibbles, Diana
