You should clip your gliders nails every couple of weeks, you will need to kind of wrap your glider in a towel and kinda hold him down and pull out one paw at a time and use baby clipper to clip his nails. You need to be very VERY careful though not to cut to deep. You should just barely take the tips off or you will make him bleed. So just be very careful.
