hey i am getting two sugargliders hopefully soon from a person, and they are VERY hard to take care of if you know nothing about them. the past week or so i have been doing all the research i can to find out every aspect about them. once i did that i showed it to my parent, and she said that I have to be the one to take care of everything, and that i must get rid of my rabbit in the process. they are a BIG responsibility (and i am only 15..well 16 in a month or so)plus from what i have learned/read about, sugar gliders arent afraid of anything that is groud dwelling, and your dog would probably hurt it, even if he/she wasnt tryin to on purpose. they take a LOT of responsibilty and a LOT of your time if you have little to spare. look into them first for a while, gather information on how to care/feed/play, etc with them then show how your knowledge on them (sugargliders) is very good and possibly they will think about it more
