I appriciate all of you who responded to my trip question. I have decided to leave Maddie home with my boyfriend. Maddie will be in her own cage and be fed by someone who she knows. Someone wrote that if it were she, she would not take the trip. I laughed when I read that....My family lives in CA and my sister was just diagnosed with cancer. As much as I love Maddie and hate the idea of leaving her, my sister needs me and that is coming first. I don't know why I felt the need to explain my trip, just feeling defensive I guess. But anyway, Maddie will be at home in her cage from a Friday till a Sunday and I think she will be Ok. Thanks all
