I absolutely agree with what Ellen said (hope You read it and at least thought about it for a while).
WE are the ones that put animals in cages and prevent them from living a "normal" live. It´s not THEM not functioning, it´s US not providing them with proper living conditions.
So, if You are not able to deal with a difficult situation, at least try to find someone who is. Killing an animal just because it does not behave as you would like it to is an act of cruelness and stupidity.
