I'm not insecure. I've been on this board awhile, and I read what everyone posts. I know how people are. I was speaking in general and not pointing fingers to anyone one this board. Everyone has thier own reasons for breeding. Mine was I just didn't get my male nuetered in time before they started haveing joey's. And I'll "Put myself into my gliders shoes"..If I WERE my glider, I would be glad that my mate got fixed. She's had 2 litters right in a row, and she's stressed and tired. Not everyone or everything needs to go through life being a mother. When female gliders have a mate, then think of them too, not just themselfs. I was also saying they when people gliders , keep have litters of joey and can't find good homes for them, they sale them to just anyone, and then their is people who'll just sale them to anyone just because. Cynthia ssying "Go for the good of the glider" What's better, to have one breeding pair breed and in one year have 3 or 4 litter, and onlyacouple of them find really good homes, and the rest finding a home for acouple years and end up getting sold to someone else and keep getting passed along- though keep in mind, these people did their research, and then one glider pair, that the male is fixed and thier in a great home with loveing caring people. Gliders are a fad pet, and it's not going away.
I wasn't assuming anything, and I've never heard my glide "sing" to her joey's. I've hear her chitter to them, and then she makes this chitter, crab, bark noise when they bite her teat to hard.

I've seen so many people lose their gliders, and their gliders being sick and coming here to ask what should they do. Any person that's had any aniamls knows that when the animals is acting werid or doing somthing not normal. Take them to the vet. I'm going for the good of the glider, by not breeding mine anymore, and putting those joey's out their, so another glider will have a chance at a good home.
